The Adam Smith Institute offers two-week unpaid internships for university students and recent graduates interested in politics, economics, and policy work. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into the policymaking process and the UK’s free-market movement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Curiosity and interest in politics, economics, and our research areas.
- Alignment with the Adam Smith Institute’s core free-market values (full agreement with all ASI views is not required).
Why Apply?
Our internships are a great first step into the world of policy, politics, law, business, or finance. Many former interns have advanced to roles in these fields or even joined the ASI.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to research papers and write blogs.
- Support office operations and administration tasks.
Availability:
Internships run for two weeks between April and September 2025. Applicants must specify their availability in their application.
