Overview:
We are seeking:
- 1 full-time, permanent Academic Centre Administrator
- 1 part-time (0.5FTE), fixed-term (12 months) Academic Centre Administrator
These roles will support the International Summer Programmes and Weekend Courses team, providing essential administrative services for students, applicants, and academic staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Join the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) as an Accounts Assistant, supporting financial administration for a dynamic school with nine academic departments, five research institutions, and an animal hospital. This role is crucial to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the School’s £180m+ budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial and administrative support to the School Finance Office and SBS departments.
- Assist with financial reporting and management activities.
- Maintain accounts and financial records.
- Support the Finance and Research Grants Coordinator and Senior Finance Advisor.
- Act as a point of contact for financial queries and liaise with internal staff and external agencies.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong organisational skills and experience in an accounts environment.
- Experience with research grants (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of university finance systems is an advantage.
