Description

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as Academic Examiners for the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Recruitment 2023/2024. As an Academic Examiner, you will play a crucial role in the assessment and evaluation of examination scripts, ensuring the integrity and quality of the examination process.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate examination scripts in accordance with WAEC guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure accuracy, fairness, and consistency in the assessment of candidates' performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to candidates to aid in their understanding of assessment outcomes.
  • Participate in examiner training programs and workshops organized by WAEC.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in the evaluation process.
  • Collaborate with fellow examiners and WAEC officials to enhance the overall examination process.
  • Stay updated on relevant educational developments and assessment methodologies.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, English, Mathematics, Sciences, etc.).
  • Previous experience in academic assessment or examination processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with WAEC examination procedures and regulations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
