Action Against Hunger is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager in Nutrition to join our team. As a Program Manager, you will play a key role in planning, implementing, and monitoring nutrition programs to combat malnutrition and improve the health and well-being of vulnerable communities. - Program Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and implementation of nutrition programs in alignment with Action Against Hunger's objectives and international standards.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of nutrition programs, ensuring the collection of relevant data for effective decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Capacity Building: Provide technical support and training to staff and partners, enhancing their capacity to deliver high-quality nutrition interventions.
- Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and community representatives, to ensure effective coordination and integration of nutrition programs.
- Budget Management: Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and compliance with donor requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for donors, headquarters, and other relevant stakeholders, highlighting program achievements, challenges, and impact.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that nutrition programs adhere to international standards, guidelines, and best practices, promoting quality and accountability.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in implementing nutrition programs, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong technical knowledge of nutrition and familiarity with international guidelines and standards.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and challenging environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages, especially French, is an advantage.
