Description

Catholic Relief Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our diverse range of programs aimed at alleviating poverty and promoting sustainable development. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project activities, managing resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of outcomes that align with CRS's mission and values.

Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Implementation:
    • Lead the development of program plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Oversee the implementation of projects, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to achieve goals.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage program budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial accountability.
    • Work closely with finance teams to prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Establish and implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems to measure program impact.
    • Use data-driven insights to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, donors, and local communities.
    • Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to enhance program outcomes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance assessments and offer professional development support.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Public Health, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on international development.
  • Proven track record of successful project implementation and impact assessment.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget development and monitoring.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to work effectively in a team.
