Dangote Refinery is seeking qualified and experienced Process Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of refinery processes. Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize refinery processes for efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and address process-related issues, implementing effective solutions to ensure continuous and smooth operations.
- Design and Implementation: Contribute to the design and implementation of new processes and technologies, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Data Analysis: Analyze process data, trends, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all processes adhere to relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of process changes, improvements, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines, operations teams, and management to achieve overall refinery objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on refinery operations.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation tools, such as Aspen HYSYS or similar software.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to refinery operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
