The Nigerian Prisons Service Recruitment (NPS) is currently seeking qualified and dynamic individuals to join its ranks through the 2023/2024 recruitment process. As a member of the NPS team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining security, facilitating rehabilitation, and ensuring the welfare of inmates within the Nigerian prison system. Responsibilities
- Maintain order and security within the prison facility.
- Supervise and manage inmates' daily activities, including work assignments and rehabilitation programs.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with prison regulations.
- Assist in the implementation of educational and vocational programs for inmates.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and maintain a calm and controlled environment.
- Collaborate with other prison staff to address the needs of inmates and maintain a rehabilitative environment.
- Document and report incidents, maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
- Nigerian citizenship.
- Minimum educational qualification of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Good physical and mental health.
- Not less than 18 years old or more than 30 years old.
- No criminal record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and handle stressful situations.
