Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance the accuracy and personalization of our music recommendation systems.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform improvements to recommendation algorithms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to integrate data-driven insights into the development and refinement of Spotify's recommendation features.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and recommend innovative approaches to continuously improve recommendation systems.
- Model Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of recommendation models through rigorous testing, experimentation, and iteration.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms, preferably in the domain of recommendation systems.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala, along with experience using relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Data Skills: Strong analytical and data manipulation skills, with experience working with large datasets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
