Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) is currently seeking dedicated and passionate students for the position of Field Intern. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our humanitarian efforts and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of medical assistance and international aid. As a Field Intern, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working in challenging environments to deliver medical care to those in need.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing medical care to patients in accordance with MSF protocols.
• Participate in the implementation of health programs, including vaccination campaigns and health education initiatives.
• Collaborate with medical staff in conducting assessments and identifying health needs within the community.
• Support logistical and administrative tasks related to medical activities.
• Work closely with local communities to promote health and hygiene practices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medical activities.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., medicine, nursing, public health, etc.).
• Strong commitment to humanitarian principles and a passion for helping those in crisis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to challenging and unpredictable environments.
• Basic knowledge of public health issues and medical practices.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
