Private Sales Coordinator – Sotheby’s
Sotheby’s, the world’s premier destination for art and luxury, is seeking an experienced Private Sales Coordinator to support private sales operations across London and Europe. This role ensures seamless transaction execution while delivering top-tier client service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage seller and buyer contracts, invoicing, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate logistics, including shipping, customs clearance, and export licenses.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and compliance teams on sales agreements.
- Oversee artwork authentication, photography, and third-party services.
- Maintain property listings and financial records while ensuring transaction compliance.
- Support private sales exhibitions and process transactions as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years in business administration or client services, preferably in art, luxury, or finance.
- Bilingual in English and French (Italian is a plus).
- Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of legal, finance, and operational processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
