This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art research kitchen, supporting studies on diet and health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare research diets following study protocols.
- Input and analyse food diaries using Nutritics software.
- Assist in food composition analysis.
- Interact with study volunteers, students, and research teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Experience in nutrition, food preparation, or dietetics.

About the Role:
The University of Aberdeen is seeking a Curatorial Assistant to join the University Collections team, responsible for preserving and promoting the University’s extensive collection of museum objects, rare books, manuscripts, and scientific specimens. This role plays a key part in improving public access and engagement with these unique collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in making collections accessible for research, teaching, and public engagement.
- Support the management and care of museum objects, archives, and rare books.
- Provide excellent customer service in a museum, archive, or collections environment.
- Work with IT systems, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Educated to SQA Standard Grade level (or equivalent).

- Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Salary: £24,606 – £26,038 per annum.
